Time Is a Lie
In normal life, time is linear. In these movies, time is a suggestion. Loops. Jumps. Bad decisions repeated until someone learns something. Or until someone stops learning and starts panicking. If you like neat timelines and clean causality, this category will disrespect you.
The Picks
An absolute c*nt of a man relives the same day until he becomes a better person. It’s therapy, but with a time loop and way more snow.
Official synopsis
A cynical TV weatherman, along with his idealistic producer and his sardonic cameraman, is sent to report on Groundhog Day in the small town of Punxsutawney, where he finds himself repeating the same day over and over.
Reincarnation, but fluffy. If you are emotionally stable, this movie will test that claim.
Official synopsis
A dog goes on quest to discover his purpose in life over the course of several lifetimes with multiple owners.
