The sports you never hear about

Some sports are relatively rare. Not because they don’t exist, but because nobody ever talks about them. This category isn’t about football, basketball, or anything you already know the rules of by accident. It’s about movies that throw you into a sport you’ve barely heard of (or never considered interesting) and somehow make you care anyway. You don’t watch these movies because you love the sport. You watch them because the movie does the hard work for you: explaining the rules, the culture, the obsession, and why it matters to the people involved. By the end, you’re emotionally invested in something you didn’t even know existed two hours ago. And honestly, that’s kind of the point.
